Yui's own engine is built and tested: one runtime runs every person's native agents, no Hermes and no pairing. On a local test, Gouda answered 'make me a lo-fi beat' with this playing loop. It is switched off until the new backend and the model key go live, then it ships with the native sprint build.
The MVP is done and Yui is in alpha, open to anyone with an iPhone on iOS 26. Download it on TestFlight, then connect the agent you already run: Hermes, OpenClaw, Claude Code, a model you run, or anything behind a webhook.
